#SuccessStories - Agentic Foundations at Speed: How Sia and AWS Laid Kereis' Agentic Foundations Across Four Priority Use Cases
1. Context
Insurers are moving from early agentic AI experiments to platforms that can support many use cases, from assistants for brokers and policyholders to automated claims processing. Doing so at speed requires shared foundations, reusable patterns and quality controls from the start.
Kereis wanted to accelerate its agentic transformation to support its growth, building on a strategic study of priority use cases.
2. Client Challenge
Kereis needed to turn early agentic bets into a scalable foundation across four priority use cases:
- A Broker Assistant.
- A Policyholder Assistant.
- AI-DLC.
- Automated claims processing.
3. What Sia Did ?
Sia ran an AWS-backed accelerator, squad by squad:
- Assistants: framing, scoping, design and prototyping for the Broker and Policyholder Assistants, with weekly AWS support.
- Shared platform: building shared agentic platform foundations (Bedrock Guardrails, Knowledge Base, AgentCore) for every future use case.
- Accelerator squad: a compact, cross-functional Sia team combining product, tech and AI architecture roles, working hand in hand with Kereis, with reusable agentic patterns, evaluation and quality gates built in from day one.
4. Results & Outlook
Kereis built shared agentic foundations that every future use case could reuse, with its first two assistants framed and prototyped and quality gates in place from the start.
By combining insurance expertise, agentic AI architecture and a strong cloud partnership, Sia helps insurers scale AI agents quickly and safely.
