User Training Agent

Purpose

This agent supports users of applications such as Athena and Pharos by answering their questions in natural language based on training documents, functional specifications, and internal FAQs. It helps users find the right information faster and improves the knowledge base over time.

Primary users

The primary users are application users, support teams, training teams, functional teams, product owners, and project teams responsible for user adoption and knowledge management.

Where it fits (process/stage/trigger)

It fits during user training, post-deployment support, application adoption, helpdesk assistance, and knowledge base enrichment. It is triggered when a user asks a question about how to use an application or where to find the right documentation.

Key capabilities / workflow

The agent captures the user’s natural language question, searches training materials, functional specifications, and FAQs, then generates a sourced answer. If the question cannot be answered from existing documentation, it routes the user to the right contact and logs the unanswered question to enrich the knowledge base.

Inputs

Inputs include user questions, Athena and Pharos training documents, functional specifications, internal FAQs, application documentation, and known support contacts.

Outputs / Deliverables

Outputs include sourced answers, links to relevant documents, routing recommendations to the right interlocutor, unanswered question logs, and knowledge base enrichment suggestions.

Value

The agent reduces support workload, improves user autonomy, accelerates onboarding and training, increases adoption of business applications, and continuously strengthens the knowledge base through unanswered question tracking.
