RegAgent – Bilingual Regulatory Compliance Assistant

Purpose

RegAgent is a bilingual regulatory compliance assistant that gives users on-demand guidance through voice or text interactions. It helps democratize access to environmental compliance knowledge by making regulations easier to interpret for both technical and non-technical users.

Primary users

The primary users are environmental regulators, inspectors, compliance officers, regulated entities, and public users seeking regulatory guidance or compliance interpretation.

Where it fits (process/stage/trigger)

It fits during regulatory advisory, inspection preparation, compliance checks, public guidance, and support interactions with regulated entities. It is triggered when a user asks a question about environmental laws, regulations, obligations, inspection findings, or recommended compliance actions.

Key capabilities / workflow

The agent captures the user’s query, persona, language preference, and interaction mode, then searches environmental regulations, compliance datasets, and inspection records. It generates bilingual English and Arabic answers with regulatory interpretation, practical recommendations, and inspection support. If the answer is not sufficiently supported by source material, the workflow loops back to refine the query or escalate.

Inputs

Inputs include environmental laws, regulations, inspection records, compliance datasets, and user queries submitted by voice or text in English or Arabic.

Outputs / Deliverables

Outputs include compliance guidance, regulatory answers, recommendations, inspection support responses, public guidance messages, and source-backed regulatory explanations.

Value

The agent improves access to regulatory knowledge, reduces dependency on specialist interpretation for routine questions, supports consistent compliance guidance, and strengthens engagement between regulators, inspectors, regulated entities, and the public.
