CIR Validation
Purpose
CIR Validation helps Sia employees assess whether research work brings a sufficiently new angle to a topic to support Crédit d’Impôt Recherche eligibility, while producing a documented and auditable position. It supports the preparation, consolidation, validation, and follow-up of CIR files by transforming project evidence, historical data, consultant contributions, and audit materials into structured outputs.
Primary users
The primary users are internal Sia employees involved in CIR preparation, validation, audit support, and R&D project documentation. This includes AQS team members, consultants contributing to R&D activities, project managers, and stakeholders responsible for consolidating evidence and maintaining a defensible CIR position.
Where it fits (process/stage/trigger)
The agent fits during the CIR qualification and documentation process, especially when teams need to determine whether a project or research activity demonstrates novelty, uncertainty, or a new methodological angle. It can also be triggered during file preparation, audit readiness reviews, CIR projection updates, post-audit analysis, and follow-up actions requiring reminders or consolidated reporting.
Key capabilities / workflow
The agent analyzes CIR-related source materials, identifies whether the research performed supports a new angle, extracts relevant evidence, checks whether documentation is complete, and iterates when information is missing. It then generates structured CIR dossiers, consolidated Excel views, audit follow-up materials, updated CIR projections, automated alerts, and post-audit analyses, with a human-in-the-loop validation interface to review and confirm results before delivery.
Inputs
Typical inputs include CSV exports from AlibeeZ, R&D project tracking Excel files, project documentation, consultant contributions, emails, CIR projections, existing audit reports, historical CIR data, past audit dossiers, and financial projection datasets. These inputs provide both the operational context and the evidence base required to qualify, justify, and document CIR positions.
Outputs / Deliverables
The agent produces drafted CIR dossiers, structured reports, consolidated Excel files, audit tracking materials, updated CIR projections, automated alerts and reminders, and post-audit analysis outputs. These deliverables are designed to support both CIR preparation and audit defense by making the reasoning, evidence, and status of each project easier to review and validate.
Value
CIR Validation improves the reliability, consistency, and audit readiness of CIR documentation while reducing manual effort for internal teams. By consolidating fragmented sources, highlighting missing evidence, supporting human validation, and generating structured deliverables, it helps teams build stronger CIR positions, accelerate preparation cycles, and maintain better control over audit and follow-up activities.
